Oftentimes, we are trying our best to navigate the daily demands, challenges, and transitions of life, relationships, and our own personal needs. Somewhere along the way, we find ourselves in patterns of thinking or behaviours that may have been effective in the past and may not serve us now. If you are finding yourself in these patterns and are experiencing challenges with mood, anxiety, or personal development, you do not have to face them alone.
I am a Vietnamese-Chinese immigrant, Social Worker and Psychotherapist, having completed my Masters from the University of Toronto. I have had the privilege of supporting clients with challenges related to mental health, health, and various life transitions across diverse settings in Toronto, including hospitals, universities, and psychology clinics.
My goal is to offer a compassionate, non-judgmental, and genuine space that fosters trust and collaboration to approach difficult topics. With you, as the expert in your own life, we can curiously explore the life events, beliefs, and systems that resulted in formation of unhelpful cycles. Based on your identified needs and preferences, I incorporate various therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Through our work together, we can identify and nurture a toolkit of coping strategies that empower you to pursue a path rooted in your values and long-term goals.
