Our commitment lies in the cultural adaptation of our services to cater to the needs of individuals who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). Our therapeutic approach acknowledges and respects the unique cultural aspects and societal influences that can affect the well-being of these communities. By employing a cultural formulation, we gain insight into the various components of a client’s identity, including race, sexuality, gender, and socioeconomic factors, and how these facets intersect to shape their lived experiences.

Our therapy sessions are conducted by compassionate therapists who recognize the presence of systemic barriers and the importance of providing racial trauma-informed care. To support our mission, we have implemented specific initiatives, such as integrating tools from the culturally adapted Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for South Asians therapy manual developed by CAMH. Through these efforts, we aim to create a more inclusive and understanding environment for our clients from diverse backgrounds.
